New Harry Potter Movies

I’m sure all fans are looking forwards to the last two movies in the Harry Potter series. Both movies are an adaptation of the last Harry Potter novel: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I’m sure all fans will also be sad to see the end of the series in 2011.

The first movie of the two (the seventh in the series) is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and it’s due out on 19 November 2010. The second part is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and it’s the eighth and last film in the series. It’s due out on 15th July 2011.

In the first part Harry Potter, Hermione and Ron are on a quest for Dumbledore to find and destroy all the lost Horcruxes. Unfortunately, they don’t know what the Horcruxes look like, where they are or how to destroy them. So, it may prove a little difficult.

The Horcruxes are Lord Voldemort’s secret to immortality. Lord Voldemort has sent his Death Eaters to bring Harry to him. On his quest, Harry hears about the legend of the Deathly Hallows.

In the second part, Harry, Hermione and Ron return to Hogwarts to find and destroy the remaining Horcruxes.

It will be a long wait to see the final part of the story and undoubtedly will provoke a mixture of joy at seeing the end and also sadness that it is the end. Here’s the trailer for the first part…
