Voldemort is described as the most evil wizard for hundreds of years and is devoid of normal human emotions and responses and feels no desire for friendship or love. However, he is extremely powerful, intelligent and ruthless.

Voldemort appeared either in person or in flashback throughout each book except for the third, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. He was a truly villainous character, killing Harry’s parents and even trying to kill Harry when he was only one year old with a killing curse. Voldemort is disembodied and as a result of this, Harry carries a mysterious scar on his forehead.
Only Voldemort’s scratchy, weak voice is heard in the first film, but in the second, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, he appears in physical form played by the actor, Ralph Fiennes. He is shown wearing dark black robes, looking tall and thin, with no hair and yellow teeth. His finger nails are long and pale blue and his toe nails look infected. He has no nose and has snake-like slit nostrils and in the film version Voldemort has a forked tongue. He carries a wand that that has a handle that appears to be made of bone.
Earlier in Voldemort’s life he is described as very handsome and could charm many people with his looks. However, his transformation into his monstrous state is thought to have been as a result of creating horcruxes, a device for the purpose of attaining immortality, becoming less human as he continued to divide his soul.
Lord Voldemort is the incarnation of evil and is so feared by those in the wizarding world that he is referred to as You-Know-Who or He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. So, if you want to be one of the most feared characters at your event, a Lord Voldemort Costume would be a great choice.
